Kent Eleven Plus Exams
Kent eleven plus exams vary for different schools within Kent.
Mathematics
The exam is usually multiple-choice with 50 questions to be completed in 50 minutes. Questions range from KS2 maths topics to some questions similar to those seen on a GCSE paper.
Verbal Reasoning
Usually the paper has 80 questions to be completed in 50 minutes, but they have been known to give papers of 100 questions to be completed in 45 minutes.
English & Non-Verbal Reasoning
Not all boroughs include these papers, but some do, so it is best to confirm with your council as to exactly which papers your child will have to sit.
Dates
Normally the 2nd Monday and Tuesday in January after returning from the Christmas break. Schools will provide minimal coaching for 11plus pupils and normally only work through past and practice papers in the week prior.
