These are the common non verbal reasoning question types which tend to appear in nfer 11 plus non verbal reasoning exam papers.  

  

11 Plus Non-Verbal Reasoning Type 1


Look at the 2 shapes in the box on the left. The first shape is related to the second one in some way. To the right of the box, there is a third shape followed by an arrow and five other shapes. One of these five shapes is related to the shape before the arrow in the same way as the two shapes inside the box are related to each other. Choose which one and mark it on the answer sheet.

11 Plus Non-Verbal Reasoning Type 3


Only one of the 5 shapes in the dotted boxes can be rotated to make the shape in the first box. The others are mirror images. Choose which one and mark it on the answer sheet.

11 Plus Non-Verbal Reasoning Type 4


To answer these questions, you need to work out a code. You are given three or four boxes on the left followed by a separate box on the right. Each box on the left has a pair of letters in it which are a code for the shape or shapes in that box. You need to work out the code that applies to the shapes on the left and then choose which pair of letters should be given to the shape or shapes in the box on the right.
